Workshop overview:

This workshop explores methods to embed language and develop literacy within trades-based/vocational organisations.Participants will first assess their current capacity to support learners and staff, and subsequently gain resources, teaching strategies, and professional development models to more effectively build language and literacy development.

You will come away from this workshop with: 

  • Framework and resources to build capability in embedding language in their organisations
  • A range of teaching and learning strategies and resources to embed language in their teaching
  • A model and resources of how to facilitate workshops to build staff capability in embedding language

This workshop will be of use to all tutors, programme leaders, decision makers and learning support staff from Private Training Establishments, Wānanga, Polytechnics, and Industry Training Organisations.
