Learner Profiles: Make Sense of Numbers

Literacy and numeracy skills, Learning Progressions
Published: 1 December 2010

The 'Learner Profiles' describe what adult learners can do at steps 2 to 6 of the 'Make Sense of Numbers' strand of the Learning Progressions for Adult Numeracy.

The profiles provide a broad example of what learners can do. They provide a comparison between realistic expectations of learners at each step and course demands.

Keep in mind, individual learners will have differing gaps in their knowledge and strategies. Learners may have strengths in particular areas that are higher than the step they are on.
