Project Details

Te Ara Poutama, the Faculty of Māori Development at AUT University, has developed a number of initiatives to enhance the teaching and learning of te reo Māori.

These initiatives include a blended platform for the teaching and assessment of te reo Māori that enhances learner engagement and outcomes.

Evidence is provided to support the claim that the platform and its teaching and learning practices will revolutionise the way te reo Māori, and indeed any other second language, is formally acquired.
