About the DFQM

The Aotearoa New Zealand Dyslexia-Friendly Quality Mark (DFQM) is the only quality mark of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a pioneering initiative designed to positively change the adult education experience for dyslexic ākonga. Developed by Ako Aotearoa, the DFQM offers a robust, values-based framework for developing inclusive learning environments across organisations and is designed to promote and equip kaimahi/staff with appropriate support measures and practical guidance.
