$50 + GST RegisterUniversal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework that helps us to create flexible and inclusive learning opportunities to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
In this workshop we will introduce UDL and explore how it can help us proactively design for learner variability.
We will explore common barriers to learning and ways to minimise them. We will also discuss strategies for getting started with UDL and provide you with pathways to further your learning.
Workshop level
This is a Level 1 (introductory) workshop. No prior knowledge is required.

This workshop is for educators who are new, or relatively new, to UDL.

- What is UDL and why is it useful?
- Key UDL concepts.
- Practical tips and strategies for putting UDL into practice.

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
- explain what UDL is and why it’s useful
- describe and illustrate some key UDL concepts
- begin applying a UDL lens to your practice.
