Theme for June | Workplace Language, Literacy and Numeracy

15 May 2025 Foundation education, Adult numeracy, Adult literacy, LLN, Workplace learning

Ako Aotearoa launches its monthly theme for June 2025: Workplace Language, Literacy and Numeracy (Workplace LLN).

Workplace LLN educators work in one of the most demanding education environments. They need a combination of great people skills, excellent analysis and planning skills, a rich repertoire of instructional strategies, and confidence in teaching language, literacy and numeracy.

As part of their role, they also need to analyse workplace demands and assess learners’ current skills.

Ako Aotearoa has designed a series of workshops throughout the month of June to specifically help educators develop these essential skills:

Each workshop has been designed for Workplace LLN educators but can also benefit any educator who delivers LLN to adult learners and help them to succeed in their role.

Coming up next month:

In July the spotlight will be on Language and Literacy.
