A summary report of a project to develop a Deaf Cultural Awareness and NZSL teaching training programme that teaches about Deaf identity, culture and language with the goal of overcoming at least three most common barriers: access to accommodations, attitudinal barriers, level of social integration, and ease of communication (including NZSL).
