Project Details
A project, completed in 2009, to move the text-based material on the “Parent and Child Time Together” (PACTT) component of the Manukau Family Literacy programme currently used, to a digital video/multi-media presentation format that can be used in a range of environments, by a variety of people. A collaboration of City of Manukau Education Trust and AUT University.
Aims:
The main aims of the project were to:
- develop the PACTT programme into a digital video/multi-media presentation format
- make the PACTT programme material more portable to other kinds of providers.
Methodology:
The project methodology involved:
- identifying technical experts for DVD production
- working with adult learners and teachers to portray Parent and Child Time Together (PACTT) sessions
- editing and mastering of the DVD
- promotion of PACTT programme DVD.
