Project Details
A project to develop a series of short professional development guides for new tertiary lecturers and tutors. A collaboration of Wellington Institute of Technology, Whitireia New Zealand, Eastern Institute of Technology, Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, Waikato Institute of Technology, Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre, and Universal College of Learning.
Aims:
The aim of the project was to promote 21st Century learning and teaching approaches using technology for learning, developing expert learners and providing design-rich learning experiences.
Methodology:
The project methodology ensured that the project developed guides that complement existing Ako Aotearoa resources and tools and covered topics such as teaching and learning issues for tertiary education sector priority groups and developing trends in the sector.
