We promote an embedded or integrated teaching approach to language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) which is underpinned by cultural capability that particularly supports Māori and Pacific learners. The videos are designed to support the professional learning and development of educators, equipping them with skills to identify learners' LLN needs and to support adult learning in a range of contexts.

Some of these videos were originally created by the National Centre of Literacy and Numeracy for Adults which was a key part of the national infrastructure from 2009 to 2017.
