Presenter | Vicky Beckwith
Vicky Beckwith is the Manako Principal Advisor at Ako Aotearoa, a PhD candidate with the University of Waikato, and was previously a tertiary education lecturer.
She has a BSc(Hons) (Open University), PGCE (Northampton University), and MEd(Hons) (University of Waikato), and has published peer-reviewed articles on global citizenship, positionality, dyslexia, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
For over twenty years, Vicky has supported and taught children, youth, and adults living with learning differences, with a particular focus on dyslexia, in the UK and in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Vicky has recently become involved with an OECD focus group on child participation, where she’s able to share her experience and learning with others to support our future generations.
