$50 + GST Register‘Wairuatanga’ (spirituality) is a traditional Māori value and practice that has evolved to include Christian forms of beliefs and practices. In this workshop, we will examine some of these to consider for use in our practice.

This is a Level 1 (introductory) workshop. No prior knowledge is required.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for those with an interest in embedding wairuatanga into their practice. This workshop also is for those with an interest in melding Māori and Western learning and teaching methodologies.

- What is ‘wairuatanga’?
- Examples of wairuatanga practices.
- Practical strategies for incorporating wairuatanga in your practice.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
- describe a basic understanding of ‘wairuatanga’ (spirituality)
- describe some current wairuatanga practices
- consider carefully some wairuatanga insights to embed into your practice.
