Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for educators and leaders, both emerging and established leaders, in Pacific and non-Pacific communities to enhance cultural capability, promote inclusive leadership practices and strengthen pedagogical strategies.

- Introduction of tautua as the foundation of service in Pacific cultures.
- The philosophy of service, exploring how service is a cornerstone of Pacific identity and leadership.
- Strategies for integrating tautua principles into teaching and leadership.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
- describe the cultural significance of tautua (service) in Pacific communities and its role in fostering unity and mutual respect
- reflect on personal and professional values and identify ways to integrate tautua into practice and roles
- develop strategies to incorporate principles of tautua into your work, and to enhance your contribution to community wellbeing.
