A project to develop a practical, 32-page guide book on the topic of plagiarism for students and academic writers. The booklet was written and illustrated by Dr Deb Hill, a political philosopher of education and Whanganui Learning Centre tutor and published in 2015.
Aims:
This project aimed to give students and academics practical advice on avoiding plagiarism through the development of resource.
Methodology:
The project's methodology involved:
- reviewing the foundational resources available
- talking to teachers throughout the tertiary sector
- designing a book-length, critical research guide tailored to the needs of a tertiary graduate (but that would suit other readers too).
