Key Findings
The key findings from the project included:
- Student outcomes have always been high, but in 2013, for the first time, the Level 4 qualification achieved 100% success and completion. While 2014 results weren’t quite as good, the overall trend for student outcomes over the past five years shows a steady improvement.
- The video describes how building relationships with students, and flexibility within the programme keeps learners engaged, challenged and motivated through a number of external production opportunities in retail, catering and competition work above and beyond core curriculum content, and classroom and kitchen learning.
- Tutors in the team are passionate about their field, and have inspired students with the stories and learnings that they bring back from their own, regular industry engagement and professional development.
Key Recommendations
