Phishing and social engineering attacks are among the most common threats educators face. This workshop will help you identify and avoid phishing attempts, including emails that attempt to steal sensitive information. Participants will review real-world examples of phishing emails and explore practical strategies for verifying the authenticity of emails and links.

In addition, you’ll also delve into the tactics of social engineering, where attackers manipulate individuals into revealing confidential information, and learn how to prevent falling victim to these techniques.

Workshop level

This is a Level 1 (introductory) workshop. No prior knowledge is required.
