Supporting engagement during Active Video Watching with personalised nudges

This report introduces improvements to the AVW-Space platform, with intelligent support for writing comments, in the form of interactive visualizations and personalized nudges, to help increase students’ presentation skills.

AVW-Space is a controlled video-watching environment designed for self-study that
resembles informal learning with popular social environments, such as YouTube.

An instructor manual has also been prepared to help educators plan with their use of AVW-Space v2.0.
