Leaders growing leaders

Effective early childhood leaders for sustainable leadership

This report documents how effective early childhood leaders support the ‘on-the-job’ leadership development of themselves and their teaching teams.

The study generated a framework to support the professional learning and development in leadership, for leaders and their teams, to ensure that effective leadership is purposefully grown, developed and sustained across their ECE settings.

While the study is based in an Early Childhood Education setting, the findings may be of use for those wishing to build leadership capability in their own organisations.
